Georgia Bramley

Georgia Bramley is a creative based in Auckland.

Georgia is an Auckland-based creative. Most recently, she was creative manager for Bauer NZ’s Media Collective, which won the Magazine Publishers Association’s Best Content Marketing Campaign award two years running and Best Sales Solution in 2019.

Having worked across several departments at Bauer Media over the past six years, Georgia has accrued a diverse range of skills, including editorial design, art direction, video production and editing, digital marketing and web design.

Georgia graduated with a bachelor of design from AUT in 2014, and joined Metro magazine as a designer. She was then lured into Bauer’s Digital team as a producer, where she demonstrated a flair for digital content production, especially video. In 2015, Georgia identified a gap in the youth market following the closure of Cleo magazine. She presented her ideas to the Bauer executive team, which led to the launch of Miss FQ – in both online and print formats.

As video became an increasingly important part of the business, Georgia was promoted to lead video producer in 2016. She was responsible for producing/editing the home and fashion content, also hiring a team of video editors and working on Bauer NZ’s total-brand video strategy. In 2017, she won Rising Star at the MPA Awards. The award is nominated to a person new to the industry whose input has made the most impact.

In 2018, Georgia stepped away from the editorial side of Bauer’s business and joined the Media Collective as creative manager. The commercial team produced insight-rich, market-leading commercial content for brands such as Noel Leeming, Farmers, Tourism Fiji, Nespresso, Subaru and Honda. Georgia worked across all Bauer brands, creating and directing photo-shoots and contributing to the Media Collective’s award-winning commercial storytelling.

Since the closure of Bauer Media NZ in April 2020, Georgia has been freelancing for local brands. During lockdown, she designed and launched the website for NZ fashion label Bittermoon.
